Educator, humanitarian leader, children’s author, and human resilience advocate dedicated to empowering families, refugee communities, and young people through trauma-informed education and healing-centered programs.
For more than 20 years, I have worked at the intersection of education, humanitarian leadership, family support, and psychosocial healing. My work focuses on helping vulnerable families, refugee communities, and young people build resilience through compassion, learning, and evidence-based interventions.
From leading educational and community initiatives in Jordan to supporting youth’s leadership and emotional well-being programs, my mission is rooted in creating safe spaces where individuals and families can heal, grow, and thrive.
As a children’s author, I focus on human-centered storytelling as a way to make healing and emotional resilience more accessible to communities.
In many rural communities across Uganda, the struggle to find clean safe drinking water can take a major part of a family's resource. Even then water drawn from pools or rivers is often contaminated causing illness and infections.
By renovating and repairing boreholes in remote villages across Uganda the project helps to restore a safe clean source of drinking water for families. Not having to boil the water to make it safe to use.
